Our friend - Cantor Susan Wehle, of Amherst, N.Y. passed suddenly and tragically on Continental Flight 3407 February 12th 2009.
Susan sat with me and my mom in her last days in the hospital...She never missed a day and sang quietly for my mother everyday, even when we weren't sure she could hear us anymore.

I've set up a memorial site in her name - it appears to have become a touchstone
I hope in some small way to provide some solace to her family - as she did with mine

We arise to life as a wave cresting upon a vast and shore-less sea.
And we abandon life as a wave abandons its shape, and returns to the source from which it swelled.
Arising, dissolving, returning yet never leaving
